The Excell Nursing Review was worth all my time, efforts and energy to prepare for the NCLEX. I must confess I have had the shock of my life...ie…Passing my state board…I’m a foreign graduate…I completed my nursing education several years ago…I have tried taking NCLEX a couple times without success….Then I was introduced to Excell review by a friend and I must confess I’d never ever regret taking the review class….The first day I attended the class I had hoped that I’d pass someday…After the review I had a lot of insight and nursing knowledge. I took my exam in Chicago…Our notes helped me answer the questions…All I had to do is to read, read and understand them…Plus I have made myself some medication flash cards for all the meds in the notes…I found out I passed…I couldn’t help it but cry… I take off my hat to the instructors. May the Good Lord shine His holy face on you.

Thank you so much to all the amazing instructors that devoted their time in helping us to become future RNs. I took my first exam last May 26 in Chicago thinking that I could do it on my own. All I ever did was finished 1 review book thinking that it was already sufficient. On the exam day, it was a nightmare. I knew right there and then that I was not prepared, that was a hard lesson for me to learn, knowing that overconfidence was not enough without hardwork. The computer shut down at 75 questions, and I failed miserably.

Immediately, I reapplied for my exam, but this time I needed to do things differently. I tried Excell review, it was recommended by my Mom, coworkers, my supervisors and all of them passed using Excell review. On the first day alone, I was already convinced that I made the right choice. What was discussed on the first day, really echoed what was asked during my exam. Mainly Prioritization, Delegation, Infection Control. The notes that were given were more than enough to prepare me for the exam.

After the review ended, I made sure that I get to study. If it wasn’t for the hand outs that were given, I would have wasted a lot of time gathering review materials.

We are fortunate enough to have these materials, so treasure them, and study them until your brain is able to digest them. Focus on the hard concepts believing in yourself that you can learn them eventually.

When I took my next exam, it felt like I was really prepared when I answered each question. When the computer shut off again at 75, I knew at the back of my mind that this time the outcome is going to be different. I still waited anxiously for 2 days, paid for the quick result, and saw the word “PASS”. I couldn’t believe what I saw, and how much it would mean to me and my family. I could never repay the help and guidance this review has given me. Thank you so much to all the instructors, their efforts have changed again another student to become an RN. To those who really want to become RN’s, the review materials of Excell will help you to pass the NCLEX. - P.P.

Without the review class and the amazing instructors of Excell I could not have passed my boards. I learned more during my review with Excell than I ever did in nursing school. The instructors of Excell made nursing easy to understand without having to memorize different subjects. I was in Las Vegas class of Excell although I live in Washington State. I had a long story before reaching Excell but I finally passed my NCLEX.

In my first take of NCLEX, I failed and it was painful for me and my family. I tried to get up, bought another book and did a self-study review. Again I didn’t make it. I was losing hope then. My third take I tried with another book and again a self-study, and poor me I failed. Since then I felt depression and disappointment. My husband taught me to use all the resources that we have here, nursing books, audio cd’s and internet.

Fortunately my friend introduced me to Excell review class. She enrolled in Excell in San Francisco and luckily passed her test. That convinced me to go to the next class, asked for 2-week vacation off from work, paid the plane and hotel fees. The whole review was AMAZING. It was what I’ve been looking for in a long time. A comprehensive review that’s organized and so updated. I came back home and studied in all my days off, in the library, and with my study partner-my husband. We were buying food-to-go’s instead of cooking meals.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude in an LVN program. My professors are so optimistic that I could pass the board without joining a review class. I took the NCLEX Exam but failed.

My wife told me why not try Excell. She passed NCLEX after reviewing from Excell at Sunnyvale, CA. So I joined Excell Review last March. After the review was over I read all the materials that were given several times. I took the exam at San Dimas, CA and I passed. If I know I would surely pass after reviewing from Excell, I should have done it after my graduation.

I was one of the students in the August Las Vegas review session, I took my NCLEX and I found out that I had passed. I attended the Excell review classes and passed. I found that NCLEX is really not an easy test. I have never taken an exam that I had to put my heart and mind on, until the NCLEX-RN . I took the review at Excell Nursing Review because it was highly recommended to us by our school. I graduated from my LPN course at Chicago but was unable to take the NCLEX-PN exam right away due to some requirements I needed to submit to my school. I took the exam the year after. It was a good thing that I kept my Excell handouts and took down notes during the lectures which were very enlightening and helpful. The lectures together with the review materials made studying easier. I was worried during the exam because the questions I got were mostly “Select all that apply” questions, some drawings, infection control and some new drugs. My computer stopped at 85 questions and I finished the exam in less than 2 hours. After 48 hours, I checked online and saw that I passed! My name is Mary. I enrolled at the Chicago NCLEX review last January 15 to February 1. I took my exam last March 3. This is already my third time to take the exam. During my previous exams, my husband who also reviewed in Excell (and is now an RN) told me to enroll in your class. But I told him that it would just be an added expense. I reviewed a book page by page and answered all the practice questions but still I failed twice. My husband told me AGAIN to enroll at EXCELL. This time I listened to him, mailed the registration form and fee and booked a flight from New York to Chicago. That’s right, I flew all the way from NY just to take the Excell course!

True enough, I’m very proud and happy to tell you that I passed in just 75 questions.
